Joe Lanasa Band

Street poet/songwriter/rocker Joe Lanasa has been playing Chicago- area clubs for a few years now, and his sound has grown and evolved along with the  diverse crowds he plays for.  

His music is a blend of styles; garage-band, guitar-driven rock, punk, latin, jazz, reggae, funk, and neo-spiritual rock anthems; with influences like early Springsteen, Jim Morrison to Van Morrison; Dylan, Iggy Pop, Scott Momenthy, Marty Robbins, and Johnny Cash.  None of which overshadow the emotion and style of his own heart and soul.  

This is Joe's latest project, and he's assembled some Chicago-area superstars, including ultra-melodic Mark Dwyer on bass and haunting vocals, the heart-throbbing, love-emoting Mike Lanasa on drums and percussion.  

The band is currently working and playing in Chicago and the surrounding metro area, while working on new original songs to rock your world!
